CONTRACTED BY HARRIS TO BUILD ESS-ITA IN SUPPORT OF HULIU PROGRAM |
MELBOURNE, Florida, May 1, 2006 -
Intech, Inc.,
a leading systems integration company,
announced today that it has been contracted by Harris Corporation to design
and build an Environmental Stress Screening Integrated Test Assembly (ESS-ITA)
in support of Harris’ contract with prime contractor Lockheed Martin [NYSE:
LMT] on the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) Universal
Launcher Interface Unit (HULIU) project. This will be the second ESS-ITA
built for Harris Corporation by Intech. The combat-proven HIMARS provides
long-range rocket and missile artillery fire support for lighter, more
mobile fighting forces.
